Mina K Lashes is proud to announce that we are now offering Eyelash Extension Training that covers both Classic Eyelash and Volume Lash courses. We understand that creating great lash artists means utilizing the talent and experience of highly-skilled industry professionals. With a maximum class size of two persons, you’ll receive focused attention through one-on-one mentorship with Mina Kanany or one of our certified trainers.

Our approach is simple. We seek to provide the most comprehensive eyelash training to lash artists who seek to provide their clients with the best possible service and the highest quality in eyelash extensions. We are committed to providing you with the safest, highest caliber eyelash extension training courses so that you can offer the best lash services to your clients and begin or continue to build the brand of your dreams.

With options that serve a variety of students’ needs, we offer courses that range from half days to two full days of training. You will learn everything you need to know about the lash extension and lash lift industries. By the end of your course, you will know how to apply lash extensions professionally.

Mina K Lashes & Training Center offers a very unique method of training, with one-on-one attention and care taken with every student. Our trainers are experienced lash technicians, salon owners and trainers.

We keep our classes small (either private or two-person classes) so you are able to receive the personalized attention and time with the trainer.

Choose from the following courses:

Foundation I: Classic Eyelash Extensions

In our classic eyelash extension training course, you will learn the foundations to successful and safe classic eyelash extension application. You will gain a solid understanding of the theory behind the process, as well as rules for design and styling. Our class sizes are small, with a maximum of two students, to allow for plenty one-on-one practical supervision. You will be given live demonstrations of all aspects of the application process, and work on live models under the close supervision of your trainer. Included is an extensive kit, packed with everything you will need, including lash types, tweezers and adhesives that we use in our salon to create our beautiful lash looks.

Foundation II: Volume/3D Eyelash Extensions

In our volume eyelash extension masterclass training course, you will learn the advanced technique of volume lash extension application, a rapidly growing trend in the lash industry. Unlike classic lash extensions, which are applied 1:1 on a natural lash, volume lashes use 2-6 of the finest eyelash extensions to make a fan and attach that to a single natural lash. This newest technique, when done correctly, creates an amazing lash set with superior fullness and density. You will learn how to make perfect fans, how to speed up your work, correct glue usage, and advanced styling techniques – all of the skills needed to become a volume master. You will also learn the best techniques for retention and how to manage and satisfy client expectations. A full kit will also be included in your course cost.

Foundation III: Mega Volume Eyelash Extensions

Just like classic and traditional volume lashes, mega volume lashes are safe for natural lashes if the extensions are applied correctly. We will teach you how to apply mega volume extensions safely, from how to properly isolate lashes to the correct amount of adhesive. You will also learn how to avoid natural lashes from breaking or drooping. You will learn how many extensions you can put into your fans to keep your client’s natural lashes healthy and strong. Finally, you will perfect how to create a fan where the extensions are equally spaced to give a beautiful look. A good weight balance will give your clients great retention and keep their natural lashes healthy and strong.

Lash Lifts

Unlike lash perms that use damaging chemicals and aggressive rods, Keratin lash lifts use a gentle formula and flexible shields to create the irresistible lash curves your clients desire most! During the training course, we will guide you through the consultation process, which helps you understand the best level of lift and curvature based on the client's natural lashes and desired look. You will learn how to properly prep and clean the eyelashes prior to the treatment, how to apply life and conditioning lotions to the tools, how to apply and use materials to achieve the best lift, how to lock in the lift so clients experience maximum benefits, and the best way to show your client their new lifted lashes.

*Please note: Licensing requirements vary by state. It is incumbent for you to know the laws of your state before enrolling in our course. The state of California requires you to be a licensed esthetician or cosmetologist to perform the service of eyelash extensions. Current students may take the class.
